After graduating with a Masters in Economics, I began my career in the fintech industry in Chicago. I am always looking to improve business processes or analytics with data tools. Python and SQL all day.
Data Automation
I have extensive experience automating business processes with Python and SQL. The short version is grabbing data with SQL, turning data into a pandas df to accomplish some task, and output the results back into SQL.
Data Analysis
Use both formal graduate level econometric training as well as modern data science tools like python, sql, jupyter notebooks, git version control, looker dashboards, and other technologies to drive insights.
Product Ownership
I built large and complex product features at Amount that increased our originations volume by tens of millions per month. Worked cross functionally between software engineers, business stakeholders, data experts, and more to deliver on these massive product upgrades.
I was hired by Provi.com to stand up their A/B testing environment. I built it with data pipelines in SQL and DBT (airflow as the orchestrator) and input the resulting tables into a 3rd parry software called Eppo. This allowed me to let Eppo handle the calculations, and I was essentially the Provi.com Statistics teacher and experiment designer.
